What to Expect in Therapy:

I have a warm, client-centered approach. In our sessions I treat you with care and understanding, and we will work at a pace that feels safe to you. Each session will be specifically designed around your experience and processing style to reach your personal goals.

My primary approach is through conversation - talking through your feelings, thoughts, and experiences. I also believe that integrating a somatic and creative practices can bring forth new insights about ourselves. In our sessions we can also utilize Art Therapy and Somatic Focusing techniques to help you connect to deeper parts of yourself, to reflect on past experiences, and to identify ways to heal and grow. We will discuss and process throughout the session, and will develop tools for you to utilize throughout your life.

What is Art Therapy

Art therapy is the deliberate use of art-making to address psychological and emotional needs, facilitated by an Art Therapist. Art therapy uses art media and the creative process to help in areas such as, but not limited to: fostering self-expression, create coping skills, manage stress, and strengthen sense of self. What is Focusing Oriented Therapy

Focusing is the practice of focusing and listening to your body to find your felt-sense and discover new personal insights.  "Focusing allows access to deeper levels of awareness, wisdom, and self-guidance that reside inside each of us.
